Use this guide to understand the icons and symbols you'll see throughout your audit.

Current symbols

The following symbols appear next to courses and requirements in your audit to show their status.

A green box with a white checkmark.

Green check box: This icon shows that the course/requirement has been completed. These are already taken and passed classes, or requirements that are completely fulfilled. These remain the same in the official and planned audit

A yellow icon box with double checkmarks.

Red check box: This icon shows that the course/requirement still needs to be completed. In your official audit, any section not taken or registered will show as red. In your planned audit, any section that is not yet in your plan will be red.

Yellow double checkmarks: This icon shows that the course is currently being taken this term.

A yellow box with a single white checkmark.

Yellow single checkmark: This icon shows that the course/requirement is in the plan and will be satisfied once completed. Official = only classes registered for the current semester will show in yellow. Planned = all the classes you already have planned out with Stellic, even years ahead, will show yellow.

Red numbers in a red box: This icon shows that the number of remaining courses for a requirement. Non-course requirements are not included in this total.

Green chainlink icon: This icon shows that the course is double counting with a requirement in another program. In the console, hover over the link symbol for details on where the class is double-counting.

Green circular arrow: The course has been taken more than once. This is a course which isn’t permitted to count for more than one requirement.

A red circle with an exclamation point in the center.

Red circle with an exclamation point: This icon shows that the course is taken/registered but not counting for the requirement. (Ex. A course that doesn't have a high enough grade to fill the requirement). You'll also see these courses at the bottom of the audit, under Unmatched Courses.

A black double-headed arrow.

Double headed arrow: This icon indicates that the requirement is being filled by a course that your institution has designated as equivalent with the course noted in the audit.

Course status icons

New icons will appear next to each course to show its status. You may also see a letter instead of an icon if your school has enabled "Better Interaction" mode.

Course is taken or requirement is satisfied

Course or requirement is waived

Course is taken or requirement is satisfied but was optional

Course or requirement is in progress 👉 This can be configured to show either an orange or green indicator depending on what is more appropriate for your campus

A registered course in a future term, or a requirement with a future registered course

A registered course on a waitlist, or a requirement with a waitlisted course

A course in the shopping cart, or a requirement with a course in the shopping cart. This option is only available for partners using the shopping cart registration model.

A planned course, or a requirement with a planned course

A remaining course or requirement

A remaining optional course or requirement

A completed milestone

A remaining milestone

A planned milestone

Additional information

Sometimes courses require additional information to be provided. This is now indicated with an additional icon on the course on the right side

Icon
Description

Course is counting toward multiple requirements, hover for details

Course is being used as an equivalent to the required course

Informational note about the course (e.g., Course was taken but was not required)

Additional information that requires attention (e.g., Course was taken but grade requirement was not met)

Course is fulfilling a parent requirement and may appear in multiple locations
