Request a re-evaluation
If you believe a course was evaluated incorrectly, you can request a review.
Reach out to your advisor to schedule a time to review together, and come up with a plan for resubmitting.
When to request
Consider requesting a re-evaluation if:
The course content wasn't fully captured by the title
You have documentation showing alignment with a specific course
The equivalency may be outdated due to curriculum changes
What you'll need
To support your request, gather:
Course syllabus: The official syllabus from when you took the course
Catalog description: The course description from your previous school's catalog
Learning outcomes: If available, documentation of what the course covered
The more detail you can provide about what the course actually covered, the better staff can assess whether a different equivalency applies.
What to expect
Staff will review your documentation and compare it against the requirements for the course you believe it should match.
Possible outcomes:
Credit changed: Your course is re-evaluated with a different equivalency
Credit unchanged: The original evaluation stands, with an explanation
Re-evaluation decisions are final.
