Final step - get official approval and collaborate with advisor

circle-exclamation

If you're a student who wants an advisor to review your plan, use this page.

This feature is currently in beta and might not be installed at your institution. If you have any questions, reach out to your advisor.

Collaborate with your advisor to create, refine, and monitor your academic plan—with real-time approval workflows that keep you moving toward your degree.

Key Features

Request Plan Reviews:

  • Submit for approval: Send your academic plan to your advisor for official review and sign-off

  • Provide context: Add notes explaining your goals, such as financial aid requirements, graduation timeline, or transfer planning

  • Track progress: Monitor the status of your review requests in the dedicated sidebar

Plan Management:

  • Change notifications: See Unreviewed Changes alerts at the top of your planner when you've made modifications to a reviewed plan that haven't been approved yet. Your plan's reviewed status remains, but these alerts highlight what still needs advisor sign-off.

  • Complete history: Access your full change log to review all modifications made to your plan over time

  • Advisor feedback: Receive clear guidance with next steps or approval notifications

Secondary Plans:

This is only available when your institution enables this feature

  • Explore safely: Create secondary plans to test different academic paths when your primary plan is locked

  • Transfer changes: Request that approved modifications from secondary plans be applied to your official primary plan

  • Try new options: Experiment with different programs or concentrations without affecting your official plan

How to Tell if Your Plan is Reviewed

Look for the Reviewed icon next to your plan name. This indicates your plan has received official advisor approval. Once reviewed, your plan keeps its reviewed status - but if you make changes afterward, you'll see an Unreviewed Changes alert indicating those specific modifications haven't been reviewed yet.
