Student planner

The planner shows a student's courses organized by term rather than by requirement. Access it from the Planner tab in a student's profile.

Views

• Expanded — Full details for each term

• Compact — Condensed overview

• Side-by-side — Shows the planner alongside program requirements (mirrors what students see). You can drag courses or requirements directly into the plan from this view.

Note: Changes you make in side-by-side view update the student's actual plan and trigger a notification to the student.

To return to the audit, scroll up and click the student's name.

Working with courses

• Hover over a course to highlight connected courses (prerequisites, corequisites)

• Click a course to see its description, prerequisites, and which requirement it fulfills

• Scroll to the bottom to see transfer credits

View the weekly schedule

Click the calendar icon next to a term name to see the student's weekly schedule. This is only available for terms where the institution has released the schedule.

Export a student plan

1. From the student's profile, click Planner, then select Side-by-side view.

2. Click Print Plan Report.

3. Select what to include:

   • Student profile

   • Activities within the plan

   • Notes from plan activities

   • Grades for completed courses

4. Generate the PDF.

If no options are selected, the export shows only the course plan without profile details, activities, notes, or grades.
